Good Sam Rally

We got here about 10:30 this morning. We met the other couple at flying J. Came in here about 11:00. Got set up and had some lunch. About 2:30 or so went up and did the commercial building and got Ice cream. Cost 25cents a dip Cheap. At 4:30 we had a hot dog dinner. Pretty good. They had one that was pretty burnt. Asked for that one. Love them well done ones. This evening they had a Gospel group in singing. They are really good. We have entertainment every night. Spike and the bulldogs are going to be here Sat night. They are from New Haven. We got up at 6:00 this morning So we will probably head to bed pretty quick. That's about it for tonight. Leaving tomorrow

We are leaving early tomorrow morning for Lebanon, In. We are meeting another couple and going to a Good Sam rally, It will take about 3 hrs to get there. We seem to find the farthest places to go. It will be a fun time. Will come home on Sunday afternoon. Later Ron Thelma and Eli

Home

Well We are home for a few days. Have some work to do. Like cut grass again. It doesn't look too bad Might wait a few days so don't have to cut it again before Memorial day. We will leave a week from next Thursday for a good SAM rally. We only do this once a year. The lady that camps by herself has a truck camper. Tomorrow Thelma has lab work in the morning and and Tues a Dr. appt regular check up. We have some rugs from the camper to wash so will go to a laundromat to do that. That's about it for tonight. Tipton, In

We are back in Tipton for a few days. Will leave here on Sunday afternoon. We left the campground around 11:30 or so Took us 20 Minutes to get here. We had 11 units camping with 21 people. We have one lady that comes by herself. She is great fun. When we got here it was so windy and around 81 F Not used to that. Thelma is already in bed and I am about ready to hit the sack too. A great day

Today we had our potluck cookout. We had a good time with all our friends here. Tomorrow we go to the goodwill store and Deals. Then we will go to the Pizza Shack by the tracks I think we have about half of us going It has been a long day so will Cut this one short. Later all Ron Thelma and Eli

White river campground

We are the campground here in Cicero. Went out to eat tonight with a bunch from here. A couple of families did not go but most of us did. It was a good one. They also have a restaurant in Tipton that we eat at on Sundays when we are there. A few of the ladies went up to the building to play games tonight. Some of us guys stood around and shot the bull. Got a little cool so I came in. Most of the rest did the same. Tomorrow we do our cook out. Not sure what we will do Wednesday. This is sort of a do nothing campout. That's about it for tonight. Moving Tomorrow

Tomorrow we go to Whiteriver campground at Cicero, In. It is north of Indy a ways. Close to Noblesville. We will leave Tipton in the morning sometime. Check in at the campground is 12:00 so we have time. We went to church here in Tipton and then went to breakfast. This afternoon we went into Violet and Sherryls and cooked hamburger. I brought my little tiller and worked up some flower beds for Sherryl and also some area's in the yard that had no grass. Then put some patch grass stuff down. That's about it for tonight.
