Madri Gras

On Thursday evening we went to Orange Beach for a parade. I started at 6:30. It did not reach us until about 7.was pretty good. I have some pictures to put on here we got back home around 8:30.

This morning we went up to Foley for the parade there. It was pretty good too. Here are a few pictures

Tonight we went to a parade again in Gulf Shores  No pictures as I forgot the card for the camera laying on the printer. I will fix that. I will buy a spare card and keep it in the bag.  Well it has been a great day. It was a little cool tonight at the parade. The wind was blowing quite a bit. We stopped at the Waffle House for coffee and pie. The coffee was really good as we were a bit chilled.  Well guess that will wrap it up for tonight. Got out and about

This morning we went to a snowbird thing called Alabama lifestyles expo. This is for business's and resorts to meet the snowbirds. It was packed. We got a few things picked up that we might want to do while here. We then stopped at the gulf shores visitor center to pick up brochures there. Then on the way  hope we stopped at the gulf shores beach. Here is a couple of pictures

It sure was a great sunny day after having about 3 inches of rain last night. We stopped at 5guys burgers for a late lunch. Boy it was great. A little more expensive than what we are used too. A little siteseeing

This afternoon we drove into Foley and stopped at the visitors center. Got some info on the area then drove to Camping World. We wanted to get a new next exit book. They did not have the spiral bound one we wanted so didn't get it. We looked at some Montana's. They now have a 39 footer. It is made for full timing. It has two vanity's in the bathroom upstairs and a half bath down. Didn't find out how much it was. We are supposed to get rain tomorrow. We may go to the grocery if it does. Another great day

Today was another great day. Sunny this morning but later it got a bit cloudy. Heard raindrops a bit ago. They are predicting rain tonight and tomorrow morning. We went into Walgreen's this afternoon As I needed some strips for my blood sugar machine. Also had to go to UPS store to send my progressive industries electrical protector back as it is not working right. Should have it back my next week sometime. We also stopped at Wendy's for a frosty. Milk at WM . Oh got Eli a mdouble for supper and breakfast. Spoiled dog. Well guess that is it for tonight Later Ron Thelma and Eli

Another nice day

Another nice day here. Got up to the upper 60s. We went to Ryan's this morning for their buffet. Was really good Had too much to eat. I got the outside fridge going and got some beer and pop in it. Also put out the awning and got it tied down. The sun shines in the door in the afternoon if the door is open. Not sure what we are going to do tomorrow. Maybe drive down to the gulf. Only about 8 miles away. I would like to get some sunset pictures while we are here.  Well the super bool is over. I do not like the ravens  But didn't really care. Watched the first half and then changed Turned it back just as it was ending. I can't believe what they charge for commercials. Did not see the bud one. Well that is it for tonight. I have taken a few photos on the way down and this afternoon I took a few more. This is really a nice park Not so big that you get lost. I think about140 sites. They keep about 6 ones that are pull through's for people staying overnight or just a week. Here is a pic when you enter Alabama rest area

We got here

We got to Foley this afternoon about 2. Got set up Still have a few things to do tomorrow.Get out the outside fridge. The camper one is working. We need to get a new thermometer for the lower section. The freezer is really cold. This is a nice campground. Thanks to our Granddaughter for dinner tonight. She gave us a gift card for Christmas for Cracker Barrel. They had a salmon patty dinner. It was good. Tomorrow morning they have a breakfast here at the rec hall. 3.00 that is pretty cheap. My progressive electrical box is not working right. Need to email them.  Well about time for a shower. More tomorrow.Later Ron Thelma and Eli. He has settled in good
