Update

We have reservations made for Texas for Jan and Feb. Will be at Rolling homes in Donna Texas. We might stay another week in March and then start for Canton where the retiree rally is. We can go in there about 3 or four days early.  The other morning Thelma went to the bathroom and said the toilet was not filling up. I got up and walked in and could here water running somewhere. Went down to basement and a faucet had rusted partway through. Shut off the water at main valve and went up and got dressed. Called the guy who used to do plumbing for us. No answer so call Louie Bowman neighbor guy. He was on his way home and stopped in. Showed him what happened. He said he would be back. Went home and got some parts. I had to go get a new faucet but we got it fixed. Did not spray much water. Thank goodness it was in the morning. I think when she flushed the toilet it put a sudden burst of pressure that it finally gave up.  Glad that didn't happen when we were gone for the winter.  That's about it from here. Home

We got home about 3:30 this afternoon Got backed  in after several tries. Seems after we have been gone I have trouble backing in the driveway, We left at 4:30 to go to church. Went with Gary's to eat at chinese buffet. Pretty good and cheap.  I will post a link to the pictures when I get them all done.  Thats it for tonight.  Later all Ron Thelma and Eli

Heading home tomorrow

Tomorrow we head back to the Fort. It has been a good week here. Today we deceided to do a bridge tour. We took the blue route and stopped at a couple of little towns. ate at one. At one little town the Friends church was making apple butter. Bought a small jar. We took eli with us. He was good. We had a plain beef sandwich at one place. Thelma saved a little of hers for him. He ate it like he hadn't ate anything in a week. We put away the chairs and stuff tonight. We will go out for breakfast in the morning and then hook up and head north. On the square

Today we went into town and did the town square. They have tents set up on 3 sides of the courthouse with stuff for sale. Eli go a coverup with a big P in the center. We ate at a couple of different places. I had a steak sandwich and Thelma had a loaded baked potato. We spent about 3 hours there and then came back to the trailer and took it easy.  Tomorrow we are going back to mansfield and finish it up maybe. We just can't walk as much as we used too.  Guess thats it for today.  More tomorrow  Later Ron Thelma and Eli

Another small town grown

Today we went to Mansfield. They have a roller mill there. I took a bunch of pictures of the inner workings of it Will put them up on the website when I get some good wifi. The air card is so slow here. I am putting a couple of pictures on here. Tomorrow we are going to the courthouse square and see what they have. This place can really take your money in a hurry.

The top one is from the fairgrounds here that I took when we got back from eating dinner. It was almost too late. The other one is the Mansfield Roller Mill. This is a very interesting mill. Bridgeton, In

Today we went to Bridgeton to see what is there. People lots of people. We did not see everything there. They have tents packed next to each other. Ate a lot of stuff. Here are a couple of pictures

rockville, in

We are at the fairgrounds here in Rockville. Got here this afternoon around 2:30 Got set up and sat around for a bit. It was 82 here so put the air on. Now have windows open and it is cool. Outside says 59. Will be good sleeping weather. The air card here is really slow only 48.3 kbps. That is the slowest I have ever had. I try and test every place we are and nothing has been this slow. Tomorrow we are going to do some bridge sighting . The crowds are not to bad yet but traffic looks like it might me bad. We shall see. That's about it for tonight. Springfield, Ohio

We are camped for the night at Buck Creek State Park. This is a PassportPark It is half price for members. Not very many state parks have that . Ohio ones do. We got set up  and sat around under a shade tree for awhile. Then went to Bob Evans to eat and then Walmart. Needed a few things. Tomorrow we head to Rockville,In for the covered bridge festival. I called this evening and they have room at the fairgrounds. Not sure how long we will stay. Depends on how tired we get.  That is about it for tonight  Later all Ron Thelma and Eli

Busy Day today

This was the big day. Tricdk or treat Costume judging trailer decorating Fall trees Here are a few pic for youThe first one is a tree here at the fairgrounds the second is a pumpkin that someone decorated. Kinda neat the way they do it. The last one is a trailer here decorated. Tomorrow we leave for Springfield ohio to Buck creek state park. Will stay there Sun night and then on to rockville on Mon. Mansfield, Ohio

We are at the richland county fairgrounds. Nice fairgrounds and good electric. Tonight was hospitality. Thelma and I got here about 1030 this morning. Made good time. This place is just a bit off of US 30. We had 4 lane road all the way. It is 148 miles I think to here. Tomorrow is a whole day of activities. Costume judging trick or treat and some other stuff. Thelma and I went to Cheddar's here to eat tonight as their hospitality didn't start till 8. That is to late for Thelma to eat. The food was good at Cheddar's. Have leftovers for tomorrow. Leaving tomorrow

We are leaving early in the morning. Going to Ohio for a campout and then Maybe going to the covered bridge festival in Parke county. We could not get in at Mich so going south. Yes we plan to go south this winter to Texas. We will winterize when we get back in a week. Hate doing that Means the camping season is over til Jan. We are home

WE got home about 4"00 this afternoon . Got the  trailer backed in and hooked up to electric. Then put the rooms out. Carried in the puter and clothes. Will start laundry in the morning . go pick up mail and new pulley for lawnmower. Got some work ahead before we can leave next Fri for an Ohio Halloween campout. Then maybe to Michigan for a few days. Then it will be over for this year. Hate to see it end.Guess that's about it for tonight  Later all Ron Thelma and Eli

A relaxing day

Thelma and I slept in today. Got up about 9 and went to McDonald's for breakfast and then to the laundry. We did two loads. That way when we get home next week we won't have as much to do. This evening we went to a Mexican restaurant for supper. Was good. Had some leftovers. This evening we had hospitality. Cookies and chips and drinks. We sat around and chatted with other members. Really enjoyed that. Am ready for bed. We have a meeting at 8 in the morning.. Way to early for us.  That's about it for tonight  Later all Ron Thelma and Eli
