Surgery over.

Just got home from the hospital about30minutes ago. Held the dog for bit and then got on here. The surgery last4hrs. was to be only 2. They took out3 of the para-thyroid glands. One was still okay. Also about half of her thyroid. They kept her overnight as the surgery lasted so long.They took her back about 1:30 but we did not see the Dr till 5:30. Made for a long afternoon. She most likely will come home tomorrow. I will go back up around 9 in the morning. hope she has a good nights sleep.Will update tomorrow after she comes home. Later Ron Thelma and Eli. He is not happy that Mommy is not here.

    Glad to hear the surgery is over with and that Thelma is doing okay. Our Scooter kept waiting all night for Jim to come home. Every noise she heard, she was sure it was him.
