Two Days to go
Tonight we had our teen Queen contest. A girl from Michigan won. I spent the day taking pictures of all the Queen activities. Starting at 9:00 this morning. That was a tea then they did a gift exchange At 2:00 they did a talent Then this evening was the Evening gown part with them answering a question. It was a good evening. I am ready for bed I have a lot of pictures to go over. Tomorrow is a pretty busy day too. Thurs is the parade and then it starts to wind down. Thank Goodness. Thelma and I are both ready for a break. Guess that's about it for tonight. Later all Ron Thelma and Eli

Sounds like a really full day. I thought camping was supposed to be relaxing. :) I would definitely be ready for a break too.
ReplyDeleteI guess when you are part of the host group, it gets rather hectic. The volunteers here are doing a great job. Enjoy the rest of your time. Have they had the pet parade and did Eli win?
ReplyDeleteI remember those days and Kekionga hosting the Teen Queen Tea in DeQuoin. Busy time but good memories. Also our daughter Kathy participated in the Teen Queen contests and never won but was first runner up and Miss Congenialty.
