Update
Thought I would update here tonight. Eli is doing good. He is eating food again. Cesar dog food and sometimes hamburger. He is still getting antibiotics for a couple more days. We went to the legion tonight out north and picked up Jack Blomback's mother and took her with us. Had a nice visit. Still not sure exactly which we are going. Might go straight south to Alabama and then head west from there. The weather is not very helpful, Looking at the five day forecast it is not going to warm up much. Not sure it is going to be very warm at Nashville where we usually stop the first night. I guess we will have to wait and see. That's about it from here. Let you all know when we get on the road. Glad to hear that Eli is doing well. So is the Cesar dog food the same Cesar that is the Dog Whisperer? When we lived in Houston, we used to take I-70 to I-57 to I-55 down to Memphis and then head through Little Rock. Then you're sort of angling south and west. I don't know as it would be any warmer sooner, though, that way. Guess you'll have to watch the weather forecasts closely, especially for any possible snow. Will pray for safe travel and dry roads.
