Update on Thelma
Since I had posted here that Thelma had surgery on her thyroid thought I ought to let those that read this that we had a little setback. Yesterday she received a call from the surgeon that he wanted to see her. They had sent part of the thyroid for a second opinion to Mayo. They found some cancer cells. Not real big. So now she will probably have to have some more surgery and then some radiation. He said we can go south for the two months that we had planned. Then when we get back In April we will call and get that taken care of. Just knew when they called that something was not right. They had checked some of the thyroid when they did the surgery. That part must have been okay. He says this is easy to take care of. So at the end of this month we are headed for Foley, Al. Other that that things are good. Later all Ron Thelma and Eli

sorry to hear you got 'the' call..but glad to see its not worse than it is...glad your able to go south and take care of it all upon your return...travel safe :)
ReplyDeleteI really don't like those calls but knowing that it won't be too hard to take care of is a blessing. Enjoy your time together in the south. Prayers and hugs.
