Few thoughts

Well still not have not heard anything about the trailer. They needed to get the part so it might take awhile. Guess we don't need it right now. We sure can't camp here at 27degrees. We went to a Memorial service for Darlene Wed night. Jack and Barb came from Ky. We picked them up at his Mom's. It was a very good service. The service was at Jim's church. (son). His wife sang a couple of songs. She sang bueatifully. The pastor did a real good job on the message for not really knowing the family. It sure is going to seem different when we talk about them. We have know them since 1968 when we both joined the camping club. Thelma is getting along pretty good. She doesn't have near the pain as she had for a while. She still can not stand for long times. Well that is about it from here. Later all Ron Thelma and Eli

  1. Yeah, the weather sure did get colder didn't it. I don't like this. I'm sure it is going to seem strange. What is Bob planning on doing now. Glad Thelma is getting along better. Probably just going to take time to heal some more.

  2. Didn't you and Thelma and Mom and Pop camp every month (even in the winter) way back when, and you got a special patch for doing it? I did not realize that it was that long ago that you joined the camping club the first time--but time flies. Yes, it will certainly be different when you talk about them now, but I'm sure there are many good memories to recall. Glad to hear that Thelma is having less pain. Guess those things just take time.

  3. Yes we did that winter thing. We used to have a snowball campout. One year Paul and Beth brought their camper and Mom and Dad stayed in ours. I think it was at portland, In. They had to plow out the snow. We were camped close to the building as I remember. I have pitures somewhere. Not sure if they are slides or hard copies.

  4. Mom and Dad got their year round patch the same time we did. There was one month they came out to the farm and camped with us because there was too much snow and we couldn't get the camper out. I got up in the morning and my boots were frozen to the floor.
