Just about ready

Only 3 more days till we leave. We have the dining room about full of stuff to carry out Tomorrow and Fri. I am going to start some heat out there tomorrow afternoon. I took out some clothes for me yesterday Thelma has hers about ready to take out. I need to do some laundry in the next couple of days. This evening when the 5 oclock news came on they said there had been a stabbing at a high school in Fort Wayne. I looked up and thought the place looked familiar. Sure enough it was at Concordia. One 14 year old stabbed a 17 year old senior. the 14 was a freshman. This is the first time in Concordia's history of this happening. At least that is what they said. I just don't understand what is going on in this day and age. Might find out more tomorrow. Guess that is about itfor now. ELi is getting clipped in the morning. She is picking him up at 7:30. I have my appointment at 10:00 Thelma is at 1:30 Then in the evening we are going out to Logans with Gary's family. Tomorrow is a busy day. Fri and Sat will be packing day. Later Ron Thelma and Eli

  1. I am sure you are getting anxious to leave. Since the weather is supposed to warm up here maybe it will be a lot warmer down there too. How is Thelma getting along. I know what you mean. It is hard to believe something like that would happen in a high school but unfortunately it is happening a lot more now days.

  2. I guess you have been and will be really busy until you leave. Have you had to do something special at your house since you will be gone for a while, or will Gary be coming out to check on things? After I read your post, I went to the Journal Gazette web site and read about the incident at Concordia. I know those things happen in some big inner city schools, but surprising that it would happen there. But things are a lot different nowadays no matter what or where the school is.
