Madri Gras

On Thursday evening we went to Orange Beach for a parade. I started at 6:30. It did not reach us until about 7.was pretty good. I have some pictures to put on here we got back home around 8:30.
This morning we went up to Foley for the parade there. It was pretty good too. Here are a few pictures

This the Jr ROTC air force cadets from Gulf Shores High School
This is the Anchors Aweigh float The campground we are staying at
This is the steel drum band From Gulf Shores high school. The sound was amazing.
Tonight we went to a parade again in Gulf Shores  No pictures as I forgot the card for the camera laying on the printer. I will fix that. I will buy a spare card and keep it in the bag.  Well it has been a great day. It was a little cool tonight at the parade. The wind was blowing quite a bit. We stopped at the Waffle House for coffee and pie. The coffee was really good as we were a bit chilled.  Well guess that will wrap it up for tonight. We might have two more parades on Tues if it doesn't rain. Later Ron Thelma and Eli

  1. We skipped the parade today because it was just too cold and wet. It also wasn't a Mardi Gras parade but a celebration of the sun (which we didn't see today). But you guys are definitely doing it up good. Glad you're having so much fun.

  2. Those are pretty great pictures! Brian and I went to the Mardi Gras parade in St. Louis yesterday. It was cold and crowded, but a lot of fun. Everyone threw beads at the crowd, so we got a lot of them to bring home to the boys.

  3. Great pictures. Some rather elaborate costumes.
