Good News

Yesterday I received a letter from the Jury Clerk from district court. They have excused me from jury duty. Whopee. It was to be the week before we wanted to leave which would maybe have pressed us to get the trailer loaded. Think what we will do is get everything ready in the dining room in boxes and then haul them all out at one time. Will need to put some heat in the trailer before hand. Yes the scratch was from Brown County when some guy backed up and scratched the one fender. It wasn't too bad thank goodness. It is cold here today. Sherryl was talking about coming up today but deceided it might be too cold. I would hate for her to have trouble with Violet in the car. She will maybe try next weekend. Otherwise we won't see them till spring. We might leave on Sunday the 17th instead of waiting till Mon. hat would get us through Indy and Louisville and maybe miss some of the traffic. We will watch the weather real close and if something is gonna come in earlier we could head out earlier. The jury thing really had me worried. Guess that is about all for today. Happy New year to all who follow and may the New year bring peace and happiness to all. Ron Thelma and Little Eli

  1. I guess you lucked out on the jury duty. Yes, it could have really pressed you to get things done because I imagine there's a lot more to do than when you're going away in the summertime, not only loading the trailer but also for leaving the house. Happy New Year to you, too.
