Johnson County Park

We moved this morning to Johnson County park for tonight. Thelma and I will go into the fairgrounds in Nashville in the morning. A couple of others will follow us. We had rain most of the way here. It was only 26 miles but seemed a lot longer. Got set up in some sprinkles. I had to change shoes socks and pants as I was so wet. Just sitting around now watching TV and computer stuff. Thought I would do the blog now. It is 58 here but feels colder due to rain.  Well that is it for now  Later all Ron Thelma and Eli

  1. Leaving in the rain is not one of our favorite things and we work hard to avoid it. Have fun!

  2. Did you know you are close to where we lived for 25 years? Yes, we lived in Greenwood in northern Johnson Co. We are now residents of Morgan County, west of Mooresville but closer to Monrovia. It sure has been a rainy day. We haven't seen this much rain on summer. Hope you can enjoy Nashville tomorrow. It's a fun place to visit on a nice day but too crowded during leaf season which is still a few weeks from now.

  3. Have the leaves started turning there yet?

  4. I hate setting up or breaking camp in the rain but it was much worse when we had the pop-up.
