Cold Day

Hey something is wrong here. I came to Texas to be warm. Don't want this 30 stuff. Glad propane is cheap here. We went to Walmart today and got some groceries. It is about a mile from here. Tomorrow we might get out and do a little driving around. Check out where some of the stuff is. I took Eli on a little walk today but only made one loop around the campground as it was too cold. Eli likes to go and stop every bush on the way. He did real good. Has on  his winter sweater now. That should not be either. At least he doesn't have to see snow.     At least you are not in the single digits. Supposed to get down to -1 here tonight and zero tomorrow night. School out the last two days and we are on a 2-hour delay for tomorrow. I think it is probably because of the cold. They don't want kids walking in the cold with that much snow and ice on the ground.

    You're still 30 degrees or more warmer than here in CO. Yesterday morning (Wed) when we got up it was -20 degrees. Warmed up to around 0 during the day and was headed back below last night. Supposed to start warming up today.

    You need to get down to the LaLomita Mission and then Riverside. They have a pontoon and give tours on the Rio Grande, also the best pork tenderloing I have found in the RGV. Best sure and cross the causeway/bridge when you visit Port Isabel and drive SPI. Its only about 12-15 miles long and 1/2 mile wide. Watch for the Waylan whale painting on the convention center. Also a birding center nearby.
